The 4 Best Nylon Gun Belts for Carry

If you’re a fan of nylon gun belts, then this post is for you. I used to be a leather gun belt guy but lately I’ve been putting on the nylon belt for my everyday carry. They’re lightweight, pretty darn strong and very durable.

In this post, we decided to take a look at many of the nylon gun belts available on the market and narrow it down to just four of our favorites.

So without further ado, here’s our list of the best nylon gun belts below.

MISSION ELITE Heavy Duty Tactical Nylon Web Belt

Two layers of nylon webbing for extra durability, this belt is constructed of solid materials for long life and high strength. The buckle is a polymer material, so it won’t be setting off any metal detectors, a nice feature for some of us, but it’s still strong enough to hold up under tough conditions.

Perfect for everyday carry, or simply as a solid belt that you can wear every day, and the price is right. The whole length of it has reinforced stitching for added strength.

No holes, the buckle is designed to be infinitely adjustable, which some of us have come to expect from a tactical belt. Width is 1.5 inches. Comes in multiple lengths and three different colors. This is an excellent nylon gun belt for the money.

Here’s something a little different. If you want comfort, this belt provides maximum comfort with a twist. The length adjusts by attaching the loops with by threading the belt, and then Velcro attaches it back on itself, making a thicker cushion in the front.

You may want to double check your belt loops, if they will barely fit a 1.5 inch belt, then the added thickness may make this a no-go. The buckle is quick release, and it comes with loops to keep everything secure, which can double as a sheath or mag-pouch attachment point. Comes in three different colors, with or without EDC pouch.

5.11 TDU 1.5-Inch Nylon Gun Belt

A sturdy nylon belt built with 5.11 quality for a little extra cost. Non-metallic, the polymer buckle is a single piece, both thick and sturdy. The belt comes in the standard three colors: black, OD green, and tan. Because of the nature of the buckle, it can easily be converted into a tie-down or carry strap, and the fabric color is fade resistant. For a 5.11 belt, it isn’t as expensive as you might think.

Stylish enough for daily wear with office khakis, the belt is also strong enough to hold up to daily carry, in or out of the waistband. A great all-around nylon belt for anyone, and from 5.11 tactical, you can expect it to be rugged and worry free for years to come.

BLACKHAWK! CQB/Rigger’s Belt

I’m going to admit it, I’m not a fan of plastic buckles, no matter how strong they claim to be. I’m also not a fan of tearing up my belt loops when I hang my key chain from them. If you’re like me, then this belt will solve both issues.

It’s more expensive than other belts, but for some of us, the security of having forged steel that can actually be used for basic rigging is worth the extra cost.

Personally, I only use the triangle attach point for hanging my keys, but I love the way this belt is designed. Every aspect of it is built extra durable, and the stitching is top notch. This isn’t for small belt loops, as the webbing is 1.75 inches. The extra width gives this belt a 7000 lb tensile strength, for those times when you need your belt for more than holding your pants up.

For a gun belt, it’s sure to check all the boxes on your list so be sure to check it out for the lowest price over on Amazon.
