The Glock 19 makes a great carry handgun for good reason – it’s reliable, it’s a good size and most of all, it’s a high-quality handgun. If you’re considering a tactical light for your Glock 19, we’ve got the guide for you to read below.

the best tactical lights for Glock 19

We found several awesome tactical lights to fit your Glock 19. We go over build quality, brightness, reliability and other factors that matter when buying a flashlight for your Glock.

Here are our favorite lights for Glock 19 below:

Aimkon HiLight Flashlight for Glock 19

This 400 lumen light is first up on this “best of” list for your Glock 19. When shopping flashlights, you look at a lot of things: brightness, ease of use, features. This one won’t disappoint.

At the price point, this isn’t going to be the perfect lamp for everyone. Let’s start with the switch. Super-sensitive. You want easy activation, but this might be a tad too easy. Be careful which side of your Glock 19 you lay on the nightstand, you might hit the button and trigger it on.

The strobe feature is pretty awesome, and it will hold up over time. The company offers excellent customer service, and every so often when there is a problem (as there are in all mass produced items), they are more than happy to help resolve it quickly.

Sinvitron G03 CREE LED Tactical Flashlight

Small profile, large easy-to-find button, which means easy activation. Takes a CR2 battery, so you have plenty of power when you need it the most.

The brightness appears slightly overrated, which could be because the beam scatter is a bit more, making this great for lighting up larger areas. Not sure why, but this doesn’t seem like a 600 lumen flashlight. Still plenty bright to stun an intruder in a dark house.

There are a lot of people who have excellent experiences with this light, and others not so much. The button switch is sensitive, and it doesn’t fit every rail perfectly, so it will work fine on your Glock 19, but perhaps not some of your other pistols. For the price, you really can’t beat it.

Tactical 150 Lumen LED Flashlight

Lightweight. This is a nice addition to your Glock 19, and is reported to hold up to the recoil of a shotgun. It might feel light, but it’s one tough little tactical light.

The power consumption is low, giving it a long life, but that is mainly because it is only putting out 150 lumens. While I don’t want 150 lumens hitting me in the face, specially in the dark, this isn’t a torch, and definitely falls into the flashlight category. Excellent for a utility Glock.

As far as budget lights go, this is an excellent tactical light for the price, and will look nice on your Glock 19 without weighing it down, but if you are looking for something brighter, you might consider looking elsewhere. If battery life is the key, and you don’t want a super bright light, check this one out.

Streamlight 69260 TLR-1

Getting into the mid-range price for Glock 19 tactical lights, this one is a monster. 800 lumens, built rugged, easy to use, and extremely reputable. If you are willing to part with a little more money to get a “buy it once and forget about it” tactical light, then this is for you. I’m rating this one as a best value flashlight. You won’t find one for twenty bucks, but it’s better than buying 5 times to  try cheaper lights until they fail.

Downsides to this one? None, really. It’s a tad bulky and heavy, and the switch might not be for everyone, but this is a solid light that will hold up. Feel free to take it to the range, wash it in the sink, whatever. People buy a Glock 19 for reliability. You should have a tactical light to match.

Honestly, it’s not even that expensive given the quality of this light. Check the best price on Amazon right now.

If you want a really good laser and light combination instead, then you’ve got to read our review of the Streamlight TLR-4 here.

SureFire X300 Ultra Series

Saved the most expensive for last, and arguably the best. There are those flashlights that you can buy without worry about the resulting product, whether or not it comes with a warranty. Lights that you know the first time you hold them, that this is going to work. This is one of those.

It’s 500 lumens, not as bright as the Streamlight, but still bright enough to stun a midnight intruder and get an accurate ID on your target. Built tough. The controls are easy to figure out. It has a low profile. And it looks amazing on a Glock 19, hugging the rail tightly.

I mean, other than the price, this tactical light doesn’t really have a downside. Swap it between your Glock 19 and your AR, it works amazingly on either.
